Tour and Talk with a Founder
We are happy to give tours of Maker Works any time we're open. But if you are thinking of starting your own makerspace, we can often arrange a more in-depth tour with one of the founders. There's no charge. Expect to spend 1-1/2 to 2 hours discussing standard operating procedures, methods of instruction, tool selection and maintenance, and whatever else you'd like to discuss. It's no Makerspace Operations Bootcamp, but you can get an overview of what we believe are important methods for operating a makerspace.
