Corporate Memberships

Maker Works offers two types of Corporate Membership, company wide and discounted individuals. Both include your company logo in our monthly newsletter as well as free memberships for your employees’ children under 16!

1) Company Wide

This is the membership that organizations like Zingerman’s Mail Order (ZMO) offer to all of their employees. Our standard yearly membership is $1100 and we operate based on the initial assumption that 10% of your employees will use this membership. For ZMO’s 140 employees, we charge for 14 yearly memberships ($15,400/yr) and every single employee has year round access to the shop. Support a local non profit while offering a great perk for your employees!

2) Discounted Individuals

If your shop does work in a tangentially related field to Maker Works, this may be the option for you! We offer discounts for multiple named individuals from your company to have Maker Works membership. Ballpark pricing for this is 5 individuals for $5000/yr or 20 individuals for $15,000/yr and we are able to work with you to bundle classes in with these memberships.

Note that while memberships provide you with access to our regular shop hours and our tool reservation calendar, many of our tools require a safety checkout class. These can be paid for by the individual, or we can customize a plan for you to include classes in your Corporate Membership.
