Inkscape is free, open-source illustration software for Windows, Mac, and Linux with powerful design tools for print, electronic media, crafting, electronics, game design, layouts for CNC machines and much, much more.
This class will teach fundamental concepts of vector graphics, focusing on Inkscape-specific techniques for projects at Maker Works. No prior graphics experience is needed, but basic computer skills will be helpful.
We suggest ages 12 and up.
Inkscape 101 Covers basic info, manual drawing tools & output for various workflows, and sets the foundation for Inkscape 102.
