Description:

The Lee Pro 4 Melting Pot is used at Maker Works for melting and pouring pewter for sandcasting.  It is controlled by an external PID controller for accurate pouring temperature.  The only alloy used in the pot is R98, a 98% tin alloy from Roto Metals.  You may bring in your own R98 ingots (about $22/lb + shipping), or just use our pewter at the posted price per gram.
