Join Dan Romanchik and Maker Works for a Really Basic Electronics workshop! Intended for adults and teenagers, but open to motivated younger ones with a guardian. Over the course of two very hands-on hours you will learn:

  • What is voltage, current, and resistance?

  • How to measure voltage, current and resistance.

  • LEDs

  • Heat and power

  • Make a battery with lemons

Additional topics may be covered depending on timing. 

Maker Works will supply all the tools and materials needed during the class. A handout will be provided if you are interested in purchasing a copy of the book, materials, and tools.

This class follows Section 1 of the book ‘Make: Electronics’ by Charles Platt.
