Overview — What is A2MQG?

The Ann Arbor Modern Quilt Guild (A2MGQ) is a local branch of the Modern Quilt Guild, formed in 2011 by a small group of quilters in the Ann Arbor area. The guild has grown to over 50 members, all interested in modern quilting — a style that emphasizes bold colors, graphic designs, and improvisational techniques (like laser cutting!).

What to Expect at Meetings

Meetings are interactive and welcoming, with activities like show-and-tell for members to showcase their quilts. You can expect social time with fellow quilters, discussions on projects, and opportunities to ask questions or share advice.

The first meeting you attend is free, with subsequent meetings costing $10 each, up to the amount of a full membership (annual membership is priced around $35-$50).
