"Wool Painting" Needle Felting

Learn how to make a needle felted landscape. This class is great for complete beginners or those who have tried other types of needle felting but want to learn how to make felted pictures and flat motifs.

Go home with a finished and framed landscape and confidence to try out other needle felting projects.

We will be using sharp felting needles during the class. Kids ages 10-12 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Teens are welcome to attend by themselves. ($60 members, $65 non-members)

Elizabeth Whitton is a fiber artist based in Ann Arbor who learned to knit, spin, dye, crochet, sew, and felt just for fun, and then turned her love of wool into two thriving online businesses called Felted Sky Studio and Oh So Fleeting. A self-taught needle felter, she has a knack for designing beautiful small projects that she has made into kits suitable for beginners. Her kits include video instructions that are free to view on YouTube. These instruction videos have over 100,000 views and many positive reviews.
