Brain Monkeys: Inspiring All Kinds of Young, Inquiring Minds

Discovery-based education means engaging in self-directed, hands-on learning.

Brain Monkeys offers exciting summer camps where instructors work to understand each child and teach in ways that are best-suited for him or her. There are two camps taking place at Maker Works this summer!

In Junkbots, Bugbots, and Bots with Wheels, campers will learn how basic electronics work, then take them apart and use the pieces to build bug-inspired robots. Think spinning, wheeled, and walking robots made from motors, gears, sensors, and LEDs! All projects get to be taken home.

In Maker Camp, campers will learn to use tools like the laser cutter, embroidery machine, and soldering irons. Then they’ll create anything from catapults to birdhouses to light sabers, all to be taken home.

Only until April 13th, register for one of these summer camps and receive a special Early Registration Discount.

Also, stop by the free Brain Monkeys Kids Robotics Club on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 6-7pm at Maker Works. Next one is April 23.
