Skill Development Classes: 2 instructor profiles

January features a few 'Skill Development' Classes, taught by guest instructors who are Maker Works members. These classes include Intro to Woodworking, Intro to Sewing and Intro to Art Quilting. We will add onto our offerings in February with a few Skill Development classes for Circuits as well as Metal.

There are studies, debates, and teaching practices that discuss and philosophize whether creativity is born or learned. We all have opinions and sometimes doubts and insecurities about how creative we really are.

Maker of the Month: Bob Stack

Maker of the Month is a new program featuring a Maker Works monthly or yearly member and how they use Maker Works' tools and facilities. And though it is now October, September's Maker of the Month was independent engineer & artist Bob Stack. The following is an interview done in his studio at the A2 Mech Shop.

Maker groups at Maker Works

Maker Works has become the 'home base' for 4 different maker-groups!
