A Visit from the Michigan Library Association

On Thursday, March 26, seventy-five members of the Michigan Library Association visited Maker Works as part of their Spring Institute.

The MLA was founded on the belief that free access to information is the cornerstone to a free society, and Maker Works supports this, too.

Maker Works co-owner Tom Root shared with the group the guiding principles of the business, while staff members Ben and Kc gave smaller-group tours.

If you know of a group that would be interested in stopping by the shop and receiving a tour, let us know! Shoot us an email at membership@maker-works.com, give us a call at (734)222-4911, or stop by the front desk. We will be happy to follow up with you about what we can do for your group.
